The firm runs a continuing programme of workshops for law students on the practical side of litigation. The sessions cover the hierarchy of courts and the role of a junior advocate, courtroom decorum and forms of address, researching a next-day hearing, last-minute preparation, responding to questions from the Bench, arguing a criminal matter, arbitration strategy, and what clients expect from their counsel.
Sessions have been delivered at institutions including Lloyd Law College. Members of the firm have also spoken on the transition from the Indian Penal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure to the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
The written version of the workshop is published as Practical Skills in Litigation. Law schools wishing to arrange a session may write to the firm at the address below.
