Roopenshu Pratap Singh founded Samaanta Law Firm in 2025 after several years in practice, latterly as a partner at BSK Legal. He read law at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, and has been in practice since 2017.
His practice is principally in matrimonial and family law, criminal defence and constitutional litigation, and includes a substantial body of work for Non-Resident Indians dealing with Indian family courts from abroad. He appears before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court.
He is a frequent speaker at law schools on the practical side of litigation — courtroom procedure, preparing for a next-day hearing, and what clients actually expect from counsel — and the firm’s internship programme grows out of that work.
